Our Vehicles

NEW VEHICLES!
We have added 9 new vehicles to our fleet to ensure you, our customers, have your products delivered as soon as possible and as safely as possible. Using our own growing fleet of delivery vehicles, we deliver our products throughout mainland England and Wales as well as most of Scotland. We cherish our fleet of brightly coloured vehicles like they might be our own children, which is why I felt compelled to give them names (and as you may well gather from most of these names I’m a bit of a Sci-Fi nut). We ensure that our vehicles are kept clean, sound and never want for so much as a new air freshener. All our vehicles are bought new or nearly new, serviced regularly and in the unlikely event that they do ever fire below capacity, our "fix it" reflexes waste no time getting them back to their expert best.
"Why do I care?" we hear you ask.
Well, by looking after our vans we know our vans will look after us and you. Old chestnuts like "Sorry pal, the van's broken down" are never justified and thanks to our vehicle vigilance Dunster House ensure such incidents are kept strictly to a blue-moon minimum.
Our Products
We design our own products uniquely in-house and our product range includes:
Meet Our Installation Team!
WE USE OUR OWN WORK FORCE AND NOT SUB CONTRACTORS.

Here is our sales office, where we have a friendly team who are always happy to help. Why not give us a call or come for a visit?
About Our Designing and Prototyping

At Dunster House Ltd. we design all our own products in-house. This is our technical department where we have a team dedicated to designing and prototyping our products.
The process starts with computer aided design where products are carefully planned and technical drawings are created. Here are examples of CAD drawings for two of the products in our extensive range.
We then physically prototype our products by building them ourselves at our factory, before allowing them to go on sale. We don’t just rely on computer aided design. Prototyping in this way allows us to fine tune the products so that they are already right when you purchase them and our customers don’t end up being the guinea pigs.
Take a look at our Product Prototype Gallery.
We give photographic representations of our products, not just 3D images, so that you can see what you are getting.
About Our Log Cabins

We have 5 factories abroad. Here is a picture of one of them.

And here’s another one of our factories. This one has been purpose built recently to cope with demand.
Here is part of the inside of our factories, showing the manufacturing processes for producing our Log Cabins. Now there are not many other companies who show you the manufacturing process, we can because we actually make our products and don't just buy them in. These factories manufacture products ONLY for Dunster House, using our own unique designs.
A close up of the manufacturing process. We invest heavily in new machinery and equipment to ensure the high quality of our products is maintained.

Here are some of our freshly made Log Cabin Kits.

We have the biggest range of Log Cabins available in the UK with plenty of options so you can easily find something to suit you and your requirements.
This is our packing line where all our products are carefully packaged for delivery. This is an important part of the process as great care is taken to prevent damaging the goods.

We carry huge stocks of our log cabins, which are constantly being replenished so that you don’t get “old stock”. We very rarely need to make to order – this way you know you’re not paying for something that doesn’t exist.
BUY DIRECT!
Our products are unique to our Company – the only place where you can buy a Dunster House Log Cabin is from Dunster House, the largest supplier of log cabins in the UK.

Log Cabins are typically made from 2 types of softwood – Redwood (Pine) or Whitewood (Spruce). We make our log cabins using whitewood as despite being more expensive it is considered to be more stable against warps and splits than redwood.

All our Log Cabin floor bearers are not only pressure treated, but are up to 4 times larger than the size of some competitors. This all but eliminates bounce in the floor and prevents the cabin rotting or becoming insect infested from the ground up. A cabin without large pressure treated floor bearers will suffer significantly more in the medium to long term.
Windows & Doors
We make our own windows and doors to ensure they are of a consistent standard. We manufacture, in our factory in Bedford, England, domestic quality double glazed, toughened glass, sealed units to European Standard EN1279. We don’t supply a lower standard “shed-spec” sealed unit in our cabins, meaning you won’t get condensation between the panes of glass.
About Our Climbing Frames
All wood used to make our climbing frames is PRESSURE TREATED to protect against rot and insect damage. Here are some photos of our Pressure Treating Plant where we pressure treat our own timber to ensure the quality of the process and the end result.
Dunster House Ltd. is a family run Company and as a family we own the factories abroad especially to manufacture and supply products solely to Dunster House. You CANNOT buy our products from anyone else and we DO NOT buy products from anyone else.

Our Dunster the Bear
Here’s me again, having a chat with Dunster the Bear, our fluffy Company mascot.

Our Fergus the Horse
This is our happy 16.3hh, 7 year old Irish Sports horse Fergus, enjoying one of our Tipperary Stables! Fergus loves digging holes in his field, just like a dog, keeping us busy filling them in!!! A fantastic jumper, he has just affiliated with the BSJA; well done Fergus! Perhaps a super stable does lead to a super horse after all!

Wildlife Reserve on our doorstep!
Okay, it's not exactly the Serengeti but we do have two little water voles living in a conservation area right next to our new factory in Warminster. As we are a non-toxic producing company, what better neighbour could they possibly wish for!

Dunster House Squirrels
These are our special Dunster House squirrels who we found wandering around in our display area, they looked so at home that we decided to adopt them and make them part of the Dunster House family. As you can see we built them a little Log Cabin, and made sure they had all the creature comforts they could ask for (an old rolled up T-shirt placed inside the cabin for bedding) And our mad minded, heart of gold Company Director decided to go on the internet and spend a crazy £45 purchasing food for them. You won’t find a happier pair of squirrels anywhere else.

The Cat
This is the cat, another one of Dunster House's furry friends. He's always popping over for a visit, he just loves having a look, and a run, around our display garden. We really hope he doesn't eat our squirrels (not that I'm even sure if cats do eat squirrels)!!!
