Dunster the Bears moon adventure

Hello everyone, Dunster the Bear here.

This week I went on my biggest and best adventure so far. I’ve officially become the first bear to walk on the moon. I was minding my own business and playing on my climbing frame in my garden, swinging on the knotted rope and whizzing down the spiral slide. I then looked through the telescope and thought to myself ‘I wonder what it’s like up there in space’ when all of a sudden the ground started to shake beneath me. Smoke engulfed the climbing frame and I was a very scared bear indeed. Then as the smoke cleared I found to my great surprise that my climbing frame had transformed in to a rocket and I had acquired a very stylish space suit with a fur trim. Before I had time to comprehend what had just happened, I was hurtling into space faster than you can say Dunster the moon walking bear. After a few minutes of zooming past the stars and planets, I landed on the moon with a bump. “WOW” I screamed. “My name is Dunster, Dunster the Bear and I’m walking on the mooooooooooon, WAHOO!, now I can do my fantastic moonwalk right here on the moon itself”

So I moon walked out of the rocket but came to a grinding halt. I had bumped into what appeared to be… an alien bear! “Hello there” I said, “Who are you?” “My name is Dunster the alien Bear, what’s yours?” asked the green furry/slimy creature. I couldn’t believe it we both have the same name (apart from the alien bit of course because I’m cute and fluffy not green and slimy), we are both the same specie but we are from totally different planets. “Wow, my name is Dunster the Bear to!”

Then out of the blue a group of moon walking alien bears gathered around me and stared at me as though I was the alien. Dunster the alien bear then started shouting, “He’s arrived at last” I was very confused at this point and so I asked them what they meant. “Your part of our earth family” they all said excitedly together.

I couldn’t believe it, part of my family were aliens from space (that helps explain why some of my family back home are so odd). All in all I have 10 alien siblings, 2 alien aunties, 2 alien uncles, 2 alien grandma’s, 2 alien grandpa’s and 6 alien cousins. I asked them many questions because I was so intrigued about having family that I never knew I had and that were ALIENS! They showed me round their home which is called bear moon (that’s original!) They also asked me lots of things about earth but instead of telling them I said “Come back to earth and see for yourself”

So all 24 of my alien family piled into my rocket and I started the engine. We traveled faster and faster and faster until… BANG!… “Dunster the Bear, Dunster the Bear, wake up Dunster the Bear” my mum whispered in my ear whilst gently pushing me. I woke up to realise it was all just a dream, but a dream I will never forget. Whenever I look up into the night sky I will always think of the fun adventure I had with my alien bear family.
