Aliens have landed...
I was happy toddling down the high street, my two paws full of shopping for mum when this mad, angry alien monkey started throwing stones at me! Now I know this to be a strange area of town but alien monkey’s are a new one to me! After one stone hit me roundly on my fluffy nose I cried out for him to stop. He didn’t and having run out of convenient stones he picked up a car to hurl instead. I wasn’t hanging around and I legged it. Behind me all I could hear was crashing as he dragged the car behind him and chased me down the road. I turned the corner into my street and threw myself up the drive and began banging on the door. The monkey rounded the corner behind me, now glowing green he was closing in on me fast. The door opened and mum looked down at me with my sore nose and picked me up in her arms. “What’s wrong?” she asked. “Look, Mum, there’s a glowing green, angry, alien monkey after me!!!” I replied pointing with my paw full of shopping bags. Mum looked as the monkey came bundling up the drive having left the upturned car in the street. Mum grabbed him by one leg and threw him over the houses on the other side of the road. She carried me indoors and put me on a chair in the kitchen. “Would you like a cup of tea Dunster?” she asked. “Thanks Mum!” I said. She tottered over to the kettle and everything seemed normal once more. “I don’t think we’ll see that monkey again now thanks to you mum!” I chirped. I stuck my nose in the cookie jar and relaxed waiting for my cup of tea, it was good to be home, safe with mum.
