What warranty is given with the Spa?
Dunster House provide a warranty of 1 year Electrical and Plumbing, 1 year for the shell and 1 year on the structural cabinet. The manufacturer's warranty is 5 years Electrical and Plumbing, 7 years for the shell and 25 years on the structural cabinet. Manufacturer details are supplied with the Spa on installation.

How do I fill/empty the Spa?
Simply fill the spa using a garden hose and empty it by connecting a hosepipe to the drain valve (supplied.)

Do I need to have water connected all the time?
No. Simply refill as required using a garden hose. It's recommended that spa water is changed at least every three months.

What maintenance is required for my Spa?
Once a week; test water and add chemicals - approx 20 mins. Once a month; Clean filter - approx 30 mins. Every three months; empty water and refill - approx 2 hours.

How do I treat the water?
Water condition is tested using a tester strip (provided with starter pack.) 5 water tests are required and each result should fall into correct colour shade range after being balanced with relevant chemicals (as directed in manual.)

How soon after chemical treatment can I use my Spa?
You should wait between 8 and 12 hours after first application of chlorine.

What chemicals are included with the Spa?
1 KG Chlorine Granules, 1 KG PH Increaser, 1 KG PH Reducer and 1 Litre of Spa No Foam.

How much does a Spa cost to run?
Between 50 pence and £1.00 a day depending on model.

How much is spent on water chemicals every month?
This should be no more than £8.00

Can I install the electrical supply myself?
No. A professional electrician is required to ensure the safety of your Spa. The supply required is 13 Amps for the Spirit, 20 Amps for the Sanctuary Whirlpool and 32 Amps for the Sensation Whirlpool. This should be completed prior to Spa delivery.

How is my Spa delivered?
On a Flat Bed Mercedes Sprinter with one installer. Customers are advised to get sufficient help on site to manouvre the spa into place. (Additional Installers would increase the price of delivery.) Two people plus the installer should be sufficient for a standard sized spa however if your location has steps or other obstructions you may need up to four people plus the installer. Please ensure all assistants are capable of lifting heavy items (up to 25kg each.) Each vehicle has a SPA Dolly Trolley used to assist with positioning of the Spa.

How long does Spa installation take?
Commissioning of a Spa involves power connection, filling and testing of the electrical supply. A procedure called 'Spa School' instructs users about chemicals, usage and maintenace of your Spa and the whole commissioning process can take between 2 and 4 hours depending on the speed of water flow from your hose.

What door/gateway width is required to get the spa onto my premises?
Minimum width access required is 1100cm. Height access should be 260cm for the large model. Please note, customers should ensure sufficient access is available prior to spa delivery. Additional charges for crane hire and redelivery will apply if access is not sufficient.

What kind of base does the spa require?
The spa will need to be placed on a hard standing such as patio or decking. Concrete plinth should be 4 inches deep.

How much does a filled spa weigh?
The Spirit weighs approximately 900Kg when full, the Sanctuary Whirlpool weighs approximately 1800Kg when full and the Sensation Whirlpool weighs approximately 2500Kg when full.
