BRANCH MANAGER
Location: Scunthorpe
Due to reorganisation and growth we seek an experienced graduate with at least 5 years management experience to plan and control the distribution of our range of products direct to householders throughout the northern half of the UK. The efficient management and use of our fleet of 14 vehicles is essential to the continued growth of our Company. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the operation and the personnel within it. Achieving and maintaining consistently high levels of customer service and the ability to improve the commercial performance of the branch are a vital part of this key role.
You will have excellent man management skills combined with an analytical approach to all situations and with a positive attitude to ensure that the needs of the company are met. You will be an effective decision maker with tact and diplomacy in order to achieve your aims. Your personal development and career opportunities in our company are in your own hands. We operate in the UK from a Northern Depot and also from Bedford. We own 2 supplying companies in Europe manufacturing our own products that are mainly sold in the UK.

TECHNICAL MANAGER
An exciting ‘long term’ career opportunity exists for a qualified Technical Manager to join our growing company. With over 150 staff in England and overseas we are an expanding timber product business that requires an additional Manager to join our team in our offices in Bedford.
Most of our production is carried out in our European factories with product assessment and development based in our Head Office in Bedford. We offer a nationwide delivery and installation service for our Garden Buildings, as well as a delivery service for our other products.
It is essential that you have demonstrable (5 to 10 years) management and technical skills gained in the Timber/Wood industry. We seek a unique practical minded person with excellent qualifications to assist the Directors in the standards of our existing products and in the development of new timber and associated products, particularly in small and medium sized timber buildings.
Knowledge of current Building Regulations will be necessary as our range of products rapidly increases.
A practical approach and ‘can do’ attitude to the needs of the business are paramount coupled with a deep knowledge and understanding of the properties of wood.
You will have a staff of 4+ to assist with all the requirements of our Technical Office.
It is likely that you will be a Quantity Surveyor, Site Agent with a Joinery/Carpentry background or Builder with similar professional qualifications.
