TV presenter Melinda Messenger, along with her film crew, came to our site in Bedford to film for her television series. Melinda Messenger chose us to be part of her makeover project on Five's program Cowboy Builders. Each episode of the show follows a distressed home owner whose property has suffered or been left in an undesirable state by unreliable or shoddy workmen. It's Melinda's job to totally transform the property by giving it a fantastic new makeover. This is where we came to the rescue! We were able to help out the family in need by supplying one of our Log Cabin Offices to restore their garden and clear up the mess left behind by the cowboy builders.
This particular home owner had employed a builder, and paid them a substantial sum to renovate his home. But, soon after receiving their payment, the builder did a vanishing act, leaving the house looking like a building site. Included on the site was a garage, which the home owner had intended to use as a garden office. However, the property was left in such a state, and the garage deemed too much of an eyesore that Melinda Messenger decided to tear it down in order to replace it with one of our beautiful Log Cabin Offices.
This episode of the show can be seen on Five later this year.
