OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATES - Bedford Job Opportunity
Degree Qualified Electrical Engineers are sought to help continue the progress and the development of our Renewable Products Department. If you hold a 17th Edition Electrical Certificate this would be desirable but not essential.
This is very much a "Hands On" career to develop new Off Grid solutions that have a short payback timescale.
A lot of learning will be imparted as you deal with our overseas suppliers and prepare the instructions and schematics for our expanding product range. You will also be personally involved in the design, sourcing, manufacturing and installation of prototype solutions that are developed. The knowledge to deal with solutions up to 5kw is essential, at this stage we are concentrating on Off Grid Solar Energy solutions most of the development is using 12vdc power.
We are growing our Company by 35% plus each year and these new and exciting roles are involved with your personal career development under extensive and personal guidance of one of the Company owners to be Product Managers overseeing the day to day expansion of this division.
Extensive training and acquisition of knowledge of our current products will take place over the period of at least a year.
A starting Training Salary of £17,000 reviewed after a satisfactory 3 months to £19,000 and after a further satisfactory 9 months to £22,000. This will be progressively reviewed thereafter on the profitable success that you can bring to the division.

Dunster House Ltd is an established part of a rapidly expanding family run business with factories in Bedford, Flixborough, Warminster and Overseas. We are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of Log Cabins, Climbing Frames, and Lifestyle products including the manufacture of PVCU Windows and Doors and our Touring Caravan range and we are looking for experienced Customer Sales Advisor’s.
We are looking for someone who enjoys talking to and meeting new people, loves the buzz from achieving sales and hitting targets.
If you have a proven track record of target driven sales by telephone or face to face then we would like to hear from you.
This is an office position and duties will include: dealing with incoming telephone sales enquiries, calling up customers following their enquiry, showing customers around our display area and you will have demonstrable qualities and experiences to assist our customers to select the right product for their needs.
This position is based at Bedford, normal hours of work are 5 out of 7days, a maximum of 42.5 hours per week on a shift basis between the hours 8.30am – 20.00pm Mon – Fri and Saturday 9.00am - 17.00pm and Sunday 10.00am – 17.00pm.
