DIY Log Cabin Assembly

The following pictures show the simple construction process for building one of our log cabins. Full and detailed assembly instructions will be supplied with your log cabin.

Start by constructing a level base. Screw the floor bearers together and lay in place on the base.

Build up the walls by simply slotting them together.

Window and door frames simply slot into place.

Slot on the apexes.

Slot the roof beams on to the apexes.

Nail the roof boards on to the beams.

Nail the floor boards on to the bearers.

Stand back and admire your wonderful new log cabin. Add roof shingles and treat your log cabin to preserve and protect it.

As you can see, we then stick in a fake background and plonk our Dunster the Bear in a lounger with beer and a good book!
