When I was a lad I used to dream of owning a combine harvester, driving it up and down fields all day in between milking cows and generally living the good life, albeit an early start. The closest most of us come to this is a ride on a lawn mower, but if you close your eyes, and somehow manage to avoid crashing into anything you can almost imagine you’re there. If you’re the proud owner of one of these fine machines then you’ll no doubt want a sturdy place to lock it up at night and the Birgi™ work shed offers just that. With its double doors offering an opening width of 1200mm most ‘mini combines’ will fit and dependant on the depth of work shed you choose you can still have space left over for tools and even a servicing area at the back of your work shed, or simply a space to reflect on how fabulous your garden looks!

With it’s tall doors and high roofline the Birgi ™ offers a place where most people can stand upright without banging your head on the rafters, and it has sturdy 16mm shiplap boards and 70mm x 35mm (double 35mm x 35mm) framing giving strength and solidity.

We also offer optional workbenches designed to fit into the Birgi ™, so whatever your needs the Birgi ™ can accommodate them.

SIZE 2.4m (7'10") wide x 3.0m (9'10") deep (approx).

WALLS 16mm shiplap walls with a unique 12mm overlap, compared to the 8mm industry standard. This makes it less likely to shrink to the extent where gaps would appear.

FLOOR 16mm floor boards for a strong floor.

INTERNAL EAVES 1818mm (6') (approx) High (lowest point inside 1770mm (5'8")

RIDGE HEIGHT 2440mm (8') (approx) High

PRESSURE TREATED FLOOR BEARERS70mm x 35mm pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the work shed to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay.

DOUBLE SHED DOORS 1200mm walk through, Ledged and braced for a sturdy door, comes fitted with 3 hinges and clasp and hasp to allow fitting of a padlock.

PRESSURE TREATED TIMBERAll of our timber is pressure treated in the families own pressure treatment facility. The timber is treated after being cut to protect the ends of the timber, we do not ensele. Pressure Treated and carries a 10 year warranty against Insect infestation and fungal decay.
