For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

FLOOR BEARERS- 70mm tall Pressure Treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!
ROOF BEAMS Extra Heavy duty 220mm x 45mm to help prevent 'sagging'.

Please Note: All sizes are approximate. This offer is applicable to Mainland UK only (some exceptions apply). This product is available on a supply and install basis only due to weight considerations for Health & Safety of the erectors. We use our own direct labour to carry out installations, no sub-contractors. We do not carry out any 'Groundwork' and will install to a level base area of concrete, tarmacadam, or similar solid surface. At the end of installation a Completion Certificate will be presented for acceptance of the works. Any 'snagging', within the scope of our description of the product, will be carried out prior to us leaving the site. Any further visits will be on a chargeable basis. The nature of timber may require minor adjustments during the lifetime of the building. Treatment of the building is the responsibility of the site occupier. As this is a General Purpose Utility Building, standard sealed units are supplied. An upgrade to Low 'E' units can be quoted for but this is not a building compliant with the full requiremets of Thermal Insulation for Building Regulations as many of its uses do not require the additional costs of manufacturing a building to these standards.
Sold as seen. Although in good condition, naturally, due to this being an ex display item it won't be perfectly new. There may be some very minor damage to the cabin, and typically, muddy footprints can be expected on the floor as this product has been on show at our display site. But this should not affect the overall quality of the building, which is a fantastic buy at this special ex-display price.
