The Carsare office is an extremely spacious working environment allowing ample storage space for those all important files, software and documents, as well as coping with the extra space needed for entertaining clients or holding important uninterrupted meetings. The large tall windows allow plenty of natural sunlight to pour into your office, creating the perfect working atmosphere whilst adding character to the structure, making it a beautiful feature and a pleasure to work in and not just the average old mundane office that everyone dreads. All our cabins are manufactured from sustainable resources.

Designed to retain and reflect heat, with the highest quality insulation that's a bone-warming 50% better than polystyrene, the Dual Wall is King where cabin comfort's concerned. With 70mm of weather fighting, high density foil backed foam sheets sandwiched between its sturdy timber this modern solution will make you want to move in permanently.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:

• A Rhine 4m x 3m would need a base approximately 4200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• For a Rhine 4m x 3m plus 1.5m veranda the base would need to be approximately 4200mm wide x 4700mm deep.
  
• For a 9m x 3m Tamar Grande the base would need to be approximately 9200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• These sizes are the minimum sized base needed for these particular cabins.
  

Standard Carsare B Dual Wall Specification:

EXTERNAL SIZE 3.5m (11'6") wide x 4.5m (14'9.5") deep (approx).

INTERNAL SIZE - 3.04m (10'0") wide x 4.04m (13'4) deep (approx).

160mm INSULATED WALLS The dual wall log cabin has a 45mm external wall and a 45mm internal wall with 70mm polyurethane insulation between them. The insulation is foil backed to reflect and retain heat.

FLOOR 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for a sturdy floor.

FLOOR INSULATION - 25mm polyurethane board that sits underneath the floor boards.

ROOF - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof.

ROOF INSULATION - 50mm polyurethane that sits on top of the roof boards.

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

INTERNAL EAVES 2110mm (6'9") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (this means you won't bang your head!)

FRENCH DOOR Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock and TOUGHENED DOUBLE GLAZING. (Please Note: Onsite glazing required) The French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.

3 LARGE DOUBLE GLAZED WINDOWS Made with TOUGHENED glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic. (Please Note: Windows and Doors require on site glazing)

2 SKYLIGHTS (double glazed) - For added light and ventilation. Will need to be cut into the log cabin roof in your desired position, allowing you to place it wherever best suits your requirements.

FLOOR BEARERS 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that are resistant to rot and insect infestation. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower parts of the cabin!

ROOF BEAMS Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.

All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!

After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
