Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock and TOUGHENED GLASS, DOUBLE GLAZED.The door has a low threshold for better accessibility and less tripping! The French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.

PREMIUMPLUS FRENCH DOOR (Optional Extra) - Extra tall doors for better accessibility. Opening size 6’6” and total door height is 6’11” probably the tallest doors on the market! Multi-Point locking system (on the master door), and is of the same type supplied with modern domestic doors. Concealed Shoot-Bolts (on the slave door), which means the doors cannot be opened, even from the inside, until they are unlocked. The door has a low threshold for better accessibility and less tripping.

FLOOR BEARERS 70mm tall Pressure Treated floor bearers - Dunster House provide extra tall floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabins to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabins!

Base Recommendations:

We recommend a RapidPad™ foundation System for all Log cabins. This base system is designed for our cabins and can support them on most types of ground. It also includes an insulated floor. Click here for full details


If you wish to use concrete, it is recommended that you take your log cabins size and add 100mm all the way round to calculate the size of the base required.
