Ideal for sleepovers, as a den, as a swimming pool changing room or many other uses, the Prairie^™ Log Cabin makes a great feature in any garden.

Please Note: The floor used is a full sandwich panel of 70mm thick, for you to carpet or cover as desired.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:

• A Rhine^® 4m x 3m would need a base approximately 4200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• For a Rhine^® 4m x 3m plus 1.5m decking the base would need to be approximately 4200mm wide x 4700mm deep.
  
• For a 9m x 3m Tamar^® Grande the base would need to be approximately 9200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• These sizes are the minimum sized base needed for these particular cabins.

120mm INSULATED WALLS This log cabin has a 28mm internal wall with 70mm polyurethane insulation and has an attractive and unique rounded log effect finish on its external wall.

INSULATED FLOOR A 70mm thick full sandwich panel, including 50mm polyurethane insulation and MFP, for you to carpet or cover as desired.

ROOF 16mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof with attractive ceiling.

ROOF INSULATION made with 50mm polyurethane, goes on top of the roof boards to create a cabin with an overall roof thickness of approximately 76mm.

INTERNAL EAVES 1950mm (6'5") (approx) High, giving plenty of interior space.

FRENCH DOOR Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock, TOUGHENED DOUBLE GLAZED. The French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.

2 DOUBLE GLAZED WINDOWS Made with TOUGHENED glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic. (onsite glazing required)

FLOOR BEARERS 70mm x 35mm Pressure treated floor bearers that are resistant to rot and insect infestation. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower parts of the cabin!

ROOF BEAMS Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.

Internal walls are planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. External Log Effect will need to be screwed to subframe.

After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.

All nails and screws needed to erect your log cabin will be supplied.
