CLADDING - 15mm thick finish x 120mm shiplap, which is less likely to curl than 150mm timber. (ex 19mm x 125mm) Pressure Treated Timber. (Most companies only quote nominal sizes, so make sure to check the finish size)
FRAMING - ex 75mm x 40mm Pressure Treated Timber. Double Framing for Extra Rigidity, giving you more timber than a 100mm x 50mm section.
KICK BOARD - Walls half lined to 1250mm high with 18mm OSB Boarding.
ROOF - Corrugated Bitumastic material.
BASE PLINTH - ex 75mm x 75mm Pressure Treated Timber with water resistant treatment to prevent water ingress. Sealed underneath and bolted down to the concrete, No course of bricks need laying.
ROOF PURLINS 140mm x 145mm finished (ex 150mm x 50mm), the BIGGEST available on Stables (to our knowledge). Spaced at 600mm apart, held in place with passivated steel angle brackets.
INTERNAL EAVES - 2450mm (8') (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space.
RIDGE HEIGHT - 3350mm (11') (approx) High.
CANOPY 1.2m (3'11") (approx.)deep canopy to create an area of shade and shelter outside the front of the stable.
HEAVY DUTY STABLE DOORS - Overall dimension 1200mm x 2290mm, with a Walkthrough of 1180mm x 2290mm (approx). Shoot Bolts and Kick over Latch. The door is hung on its own 90mm x 45mm Frame, not on the stable framing, with Heavy Duty 24" Galvanised Hinges. Fully Lined with OSB Boarding, Anti-chew strip on top of Lower Door Sash. Doors can be hung either left or right.
3 VIEWING WINDOWS One to each stable - 400mm x 500mm Perspex Glazed with internal Galvanised bars. Sliding Shutters over Windows.
LOUVRE WINDOWS - 6 Fixed Louvre Windows for ventilation, underneath the canopy to prevent rain ingress. (2 in each Stable)
BOLTS - 10mm plated steel bolts, 1 per every 4' length of wall.
GUTTERING to front elevation leading into a 100 ltr Water Butt for cleaning out the stable. Optional Guttering is available for the rear of the Stable.
