The French Door has a low threshold for better accessibility and less tripping! French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.

FLOOR BEARERS 70mm tall Pressure Treated floor bearers – Dunster House provide extra tall floor bearers that t sit underneath the log cabins to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabins!

ROOF BEAMS - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to help prevent 'sagging'.
pre cut

Base Recommendations:

We recommend a RapidPad™ foundation System for all Log Cabins. This base system is designed for our cabins and can support them on most types of ground. It also includes an insulated floor. Click here for full details


If you wish to use concrete, it is recommended that you take your log cabins size and add 100mm all the way round to calculate the size of the base required.
