The Ottery^® 550 Garage proves that sometimes we can have it all, with a spacious 'car port' and private reading lodge married into one beautiful building.

The Ottery^® 550 Garage is constructed with 45mm thick walls and comes as standard with three large opening windows, double doors and a Metal Garage Door.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to external size plus 100mm all the way round.

ROOF 19mm Tongue & Groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof with attractive ceiling.

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

METAL GARAGE DOOR 2000mm wide x 2000mm high (approx) at front, plenty of room to fit a car through (Available in 7 colours).

PREMIUM FRENCH DOORExtra tall doors for better accessibility. Opening size 6’4” and total door height is 6’11” probably the tallest doors on the market! Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock and TOUGHENED GLASS DOUBLE GLAZING.. The French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.

3 PREMIUM LARGE WINDOWS DOUBLE GLAZED made with TOUGHENED GLASS, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic. (Please Note: Windows and Doors require on site glazing)

3 PREMIUMPLUS LARGE WINDOWS (Optional Extra) - Units are fitted with 28mm Toughened Glass Double Glazing (4mm unit, 20mm space, 4mm unit), which is thicker than any other level of glazing available on the log cabin market and so more thermal efficient. PremiumPlus™ Windows are provided with a Multi-Point locking system, with mushroom headed espagnolette locks. (Please Note: Windows and Doors require on site glazing)

GASKETS - All windows and doors are fitted with Gaskets for improved weatherproofing.

WALL BEARERS 70mm tall Pressure Treated wall bearers that sit round the edge of the garage to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!

ROOF BEAMS Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.

All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!

After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.

All nails and screws needed for the assembly of your log cabin will be supplied.
