Our Trent^® Garage/Workshop can turn you from a budding mechanic/DIYer into the creme-de-la-creme of a mechanic/DIYer. Yes, this incredible structure can be THE place where you hold kidnapped that bloke from the telly who knows his stuff about automotive/DIY (delete as appropriate) principals! Merely coax him to train you how to do those tasks that have eluded you for so long and then release back into the wild from whence he came! (I feel compelled at this point to point out that the previous statements are intended as a joke and that presenters from TV programmes should not be kidnapped to demonstrate their talents for educational reasons - other reasons, fine, but not educational ones - still joking!)

Well, that's enough joking for today, I better get on with telling you about the actual product.

The Trent^® Garage/Workshop is a very spacious and attractive building with its 45mm interlocking timber walls. Garages enhance a property and are very useful additions to a home, giving extra outdoor storage space or providing a safe and secure place to park your vehicle.

The Trent^® Garage is supplied with a Metal Garage Door at the front, a single solid side door for easy access, and two windows to let in plenty of natural light and fresh air. The double doors have an opening of approximately 2000m wide x 2000mm high to give plenty of room to fit your car through.

We have measured to ensure that even a Mitsubishi Shogun fits into our Trent^® Garage.

Perfectly designed for use as a garage, wooden garage kits are supplied without a floor to create a level surface when driving a vehicle into it. An optional floor is available to allow the Trent^® to be used for many other purposes, making it an ideal workshop, studio, games room, club house, or home gym.

• Please note: We will require at least two people provided by the customer to help offload the metal garage doors, due to their weight. Approximate weight 70kg.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:

• A 4m x 3m would need a base approximately 4200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• For a 4m x 3m plus 1.5m decking the base would need to be approximately 4200mm wide x 4700mm deep.
  
• For a 9m x 3m the base would need to be approximately 9200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• These sizes are the minimum sized base needed for these particular cabins.

WALLS 45mm Double Tongue & Groove walls.

ROOF 19mm Tongue & Groove Roof Timbers to create a sturdy roof with attractive ceiling.

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

2 PREMIUM WINDOWS Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.

2 PREMIUMPLUS WINDOWS (Optional Extra) - Units are fitted with 28mm Toughened Glass Double Glazing (4mm unit, 20mm space, 4mm unit), which is thicker than any other level of glazing available on the log cabin market and so more thermal efficient. PremiumPlus™ Windows are provided with a Multi-Point locking system, with mushroom headed espagnolette locks. (Please Note: Windows and Doors require on site glazing)

DOUBLE GLAZING Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )

WALL BEARERS 70mm tall Pressure Treated wall bearers that sit round the edge of the garage to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!

ROOF BEAMS Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.

All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!

After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
