The Avon 3 45 Vantage is designed to suit most gardens. The 45mm wall logs form a sturdy structure that provides you with more insulation compared to the 28mm version. The shutters on the window and doors give you a log cabin building with added privacy, and the flower box creates an attractive feature. This added insulation ad privacy means that the Avon 3 45 Vantage makes the ideal cabin for use as a private study room or music room where you will not be disturbed, or a nice and cosy tranquil spa room retreat.

The Avon 3 45 Vantage Log Cabin Kit is supplied with a Flower Box, French door with shutters, and a window with shutters. The shutters are all fitted to the interior of the cabin as the window and doors open outwards. Additional windows and doors are available to create a brighter and airier log cabin with easier access.

Add the optional 1.5m veranda to provide you with the perfect space for relaxing outside your cabin either in the sun or under the shade of its canopy.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:

• A Rhine 4m x 3m would need a base approximately 4200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• For a Rhine 4m x 3m plus 1.5m veranda the base would need to be approximately 4200mm wide x 4700mm deep.
  
• For a 9m x 3m Tamar Grande the base would need to be approximately 9200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• These sizes are the minimum sized base needed for these particular cabins.
  

Standard Avon 45 Vantage Specification:

EXTERNAL SIZE 3m (9'10") wide x 3m (9'10") deep (approx).

INTERNAL SIZE 2.77m (9'1") wide x 2.77m (9'1") deep (approx)

WALLS 45mm double tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches for easy construction and an attractive chamfered finish.

FLOOR 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for sturdy, attractive flooring.

ROOF 19mm tongue and groove roof boards to create an attractive and sturdy roof and ceiling.

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

INTERNAL EAVES 2010mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving you lots of internal space, allowing you to use space inside your cabin effectively, (and you won't knock your head!)

CANOPY 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy that provides you with some shade from the sun and shelter from the rain.

FRENCH DOOR Made with rebated door panels (for an attractive look) and fitted with a secure lock. The French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together and then slot into place.

DOOR SHUTTERS - add privacy when closed and fold so that they take up less space when opening. As doors open outwards the shutters are fitted to the inside of the cabin.

WINDOW Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass because it is clearer and a lot easier to clean than clear plastic.

DOUBLE GLAZING Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )

WINDOW SHUTTERS - Add an element of privacy to your log cabin. Shutters are fitted to the inside of the cabin as the window opens outwards. (Please Note: Shutters do not fully fold back).

FLOWER BOX Situated under the window at the side of the cabin. Allows you to add some decorative flowers outside your cabin to create an even more beautiful feature in your garden.

FLOOR BEARERS 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers located underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from fungal decay and insect infestation. The lower parts of the cabin would get damaged if pressure treated bearers were not in place!

ROOF BEAMS Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.

All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!

After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
