The Avon 3 45 Vantage+ has the added element of roof and floor insulation and double glazed units for the window and doors. The shutters on both the window and doors provide an element of privacy to your log cabin, and the flower box makes an attractive feature. This added insulation and privacy means that the Avon 3 45 Vantage+ is just perfect as a private retreat or studio room.
The Avon 3 45 Vantage+ Log Cabin Kit is supplied with double glazed units for the window and doors, roof insulation, floor insulation, a Flower Box, French door with shutters, and a window with shutters. As all windows and doors are outward opening, the shutters are fitted to the inside of the log cabin.
The optional 1.5m veranda makes a great addition to your log cabin, providing you with the ideal space to relax outside in your garden.

Standard Avon 3 45 Vantage+ Specification:
- External Size - 3m (9'10") wide x 3m (9'10") deep (approx).
- Internal Size - 2.77m (9'1") wide x 2.6m (9'1") deep (approx)
- Walls - 45mm double tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches for easy construction and an attractive chamfered finish
- Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for sturdy, attractive flooring.
- Floor insulation - 25mm foil backed polyurethane board that sits under the floor boards.
- Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof boards for an attractive and sturdy ceiling.
- Roof insulation - made using 50mm polyurethane that goes on top of the roof boards to give an over all roof thickness of approximately 80mm.
Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).
- Internal Eaves - 2010mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space, so you can use all the space inside your cabin effectively, (and you won'nt bang your head!)
- Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy that provides an area of shade and shelter out the front of your cabin.
- French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for an attractive finish) and fitted with a secure lock.
- Bi-folding door Shutters - Provide you with some privacy. The fold means that the doors do not take up much space when opening them.
- Window at the side of the cabin. The shutters are on the inside as the doors open outwards.
- Window Shutters - Provide you with more privacy. The shutters are located on the inside as the window opens outwards.
- 14mm TOUGHENED DOUBLE GLAZED units are supplied for you to fit into the windows and doors of your log cabin (onsite glazing required).
- Flower Box - Underneath the window. Allows you to create a beautiful feature in your garden with the addition of some colourful flowers.
- Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that the cabin sits on so that its foundations are resistant to fungal decay and insect infestation. Moisture could damage the lower parts of the cabin if pressure treated bearers were not there!
- Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.
- All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for rapid assembly.
