If you've always wanted a room to call your own then we'd like to introduce you to The Avon. This no fuss route to relaxation will be your restful island in a sea of haste - with ample space and seclusion for use as a home office, personal gym or private hobby room.

The Avon 4 log cabin is supplied as standard with two opening windows and a French door to let in maximum sunshine and fresh air and to allow for easy access to your cabin.

Throw open it's doors for an impromptu party, give the kids some space with a games room and music den or simply lock them all out to be at one with its splendour (capped off nicely with a good book, large glass of wine and your secret stash of chocolate.)

Standard Avon 4 28 Specification:

  • External Size - 3m (9'10") wide x 4m (13'2") deep (approx).
  • Internal Size - 2.8m (9'2") wide x 3.8m (12'6") deep (approx).
  • Walls - 28mm tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches for easy assembly and a better seal compared to straight cut notches.
  • Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for a sturdy floor.
  • Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof.
we don't use OSB sheet timber tongue and groove rooftongue and groove floor

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

  • Internal Eaves - 2000mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (this means you won't bang your head!)
  • Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy to create an area of shade and shelter outside the front of yor log cabin.
  • French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock.
  • 2 Windows - Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.
  • - DOUBLE GLAZING – Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )
  • Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!
  • Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.
  • All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!
  • After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
  • French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.
  • We supply you with all nails and screws needed for the assembly of your log cabin.
