The Rhine can change your life. A bold claim I hear you cry, but consider the following. Ship your Rhine to the Niagara Falls and build your beautiful new Rhine Log Cabin on the banks. Hop in and push off (assuming it doesn't sink - we haven't tested to see if Rhine Log Cabins float), and go over the falls in the Rhine, hey it's got to be comfier than a barrel. If you survive then the press will be clamouring at your door giving you instant celebrity status, and hey presto your life has changed!
Now back to reality!
Our MKII edition Rhine 3 28 makes a great feature in your garden and is a good sized log cabin to suit many uses. There's plenty of room inside to fit a spa pool, or create a studio or hobby room for you to enjoy your favourite leisure activities.
The Rhine 3 28 Log Cabin Kit is supplied with a French door and one opening window at the front, for easy access when moving items in and out of the cabin, and to let in lots of natural light. Additional windows and doors are available to create a brighter log cabin with added ventilation.
Add the optional 1.5m veranda to create an ideal area for relaxing out in the sun or under the shade of the log cabin's canopy.

Standard Rhine 3 28 Specification:
- External Size - 4m (13'2") wide x 3m (9'10") deep (approx).
- Internal Size - 3.8m (12'6") wide x 2.8m (9'2") deep (approx).
- Walls - 28mm tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches that give a better seal than straight cut notches.
- Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for an attractive and sturdy floor.
- Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof.
Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).
- Internal Eaves - 2000mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (preventing you from banging your head!)
- Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy creating a porch area over the doors. Perfect for shade in the summer and cover in the winter.
- French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock.
- 1 Window - Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.
- - DOUBLE GLAZING – Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )
- Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to make its foundations resistant to fungal decay and damage by insects. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!
- Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.
- All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy assembly.
