The Rhine 4 45 Vantage+ has a unique and attractive design, featuring a bay window and a flower box, that really makes a wonderful addition to your garden. This cabin, with its added floor and roof insulation, double glazed windows and doors, and 45mm walls, makes a great outdoor living area or garden office. The window and door shutters add an element of privacy to your log cabin building, helping you to create your own hideaway in the comfort of your garden.
With the optional 1.5m veranda you can create the ideal space for relaxing out in the sun or under the shade of your log cabin's canopy. Sit outside with a good book or magazine, or dine outdoors and entertain friends.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:
- A Rhine 4m x 3m would need a base approximately 4200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
- For a Rhine 4m x 3m plus 1.5m veranda the base would need to be approximately 4200mm wide x 4700mm deep.
- For a 9m x 3m Tamar Grande the base would need to be approximately 9200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
- These sizes are the minimum sized base needed for these particular cabins.
Standard Rhine 4 45 Vantage+ Specification:
- External Size - 4m (13'2") wide x 4m (13'2") deep (approx).
- Internal Size - 3.77m (12'5") wide x 3.77m (12'5") deep (approx)
- Walls - 45mm double tongue and groove interlocking log walls with bevelled notches for easy assembly, and chamfered ends for an attractive finish.
- Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards to create a sturdy and attractive floor.
- Floor insulation - 25mm foil backed polyurethane board that goes underneath the cabin's floor boards.
- Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof boards for a sturdy roof with attractive ceiling.
- Roof insulation - made using 50mm polyurethane. The roofing insulation is placed on top of the roof boards and gives the cabin a roof with an over all thickness of approximately 80mm.
Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).
- Internal Eaves - 2000mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, which gives you lots of internal space (and you shouldn't have to worry about knocking your head).
- Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy at the front of the cabin that provides you with some protection from the elements.
- French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive finish) and feature a secure lock.
- Bi-folding Door Shutters - Adds an element of privacy. The doors take up less space as they have the ability to fold when you open them, and this also means that they stay clear of the window. As the doors open outwards, the shutters are fitted to the inside of the log cabin. (Please Note: Shutters may not fold back fully).
- Window at front
- Bay window at side - The bay window is a unique and attractive feature that also provides you with a window sill on the interior of your log cabin.
- Window shutters - Adds privacy to your log cabin building.
- 14mm TOUGHENED DOUBLE GLAZED sealed units are supplied to fit into the windows and doors of your log cabin (onsite glazing is required).
- Flower Box - An attractive and decorative feature.
- Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit under the log cabin to protect its foundations from fungal decay and insect damage.
- Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent sagging'.
- All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and simple construction.

- After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
