Far from being just a pretty face this stunning summer house works hard for its money to bring you the cleverest garden storage your hard earned cash can buy. As a log cabin and garden shed-in-one the Rhine 4 45 Storage saves space by providing somewhere gorgeous to relax with friends plus a separate doored compartment for storing unglamorous yet essential garden items. So if you want somewhere special in which to converge and can't stand the sight of your shed then solve two problems with a single stone that's known as the Rhine 4 45 Storage.

The Rhine 4 45 Storage has 45mm walls, giving it better insulation than a 28mm cabin. It is made up of two separate rooms, each of which can have their own external door. This means that the two different rooms can stay completely separate from one another. You can now have an area for storage space and a summerhouse all in one building. It is up to you how you choose to divide the space inside your cabin into the two rooms. The 28mm dividing wall of the Rhine 4 45 Storage can be placed anywhere inside the log cabin between its front and back wall so that you can easily create a cabin that suits your personal requirements. The single solid door will need to be cut into the log cabin wall, allowing you to place it where you want. This door can be fitted into either the side walls, back wall or even in the internal dividing wall.

The Rhine 4 45 Storage Log Cabin Kit is supplied with a 28mm dividing wall, a French door, a single solid door, and an opening window at the front. Add the optional 1.5m veranda to create the perfect area for relaxing out in the sun or under the shade of your log cabin's canopy.

Standard Rhine 4 45 Storage Specification

  • External Size - 4m (13'2") wide x 4m (13'2") deep (approx)
  • Internal Size - 3.77m (12'5") wide x 3.77m (12'5") deep (approx)
  • 2 Rooms
  • Walls - 45mm double tongue and groove interlocking log walls with bevelled notches and an attractive chamfered finish.
  • Dividing Wall - 28mm tongue and groove, can be positioned inside the log cabin at any point between the front and back wall. Minimum width of partition is approximately 1m.
  • Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor timbers for a sturdy attractive floor.
  • Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers for a sturdy and attractive roof and ceiling.

  Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

  • Internal Eaves - 2000mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, allowing you to use all the interior space of your cabin more effectively. (It also means you don't have to worry about banging your head)
  • Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy that gives you a shaded and sheltered area outside the front of your cabin.
  • French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for an attractive finish), and fitted with a secure lock.
  • Single solid door - Will need to be cut into the log cabinl, allowing you to place it where best suits you. Can be fitted into either the side walls, back wall or even in the internal dividing wall.
  • 1 Window - Made from glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it's clearer and does not scratch as easy as clear plastic when cleaning it.
  • - DOUBLE GLAZING – Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )
  • Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers located underneath the log cabin. The lower aspects of your cabin would be vulnerable to fungal decay, and insect or moisture damage if it was not stood on pressure treated bearers.
  • Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent sagging.
  • All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!
  • After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
  • French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together and then simply slot into place.
  • We provide you with all nails and screws that you will need to erect your log cabin.
