Make a change. Stop tripping over toys and piling homework on the stairs and find somewhere that's equipped to cope with your children's creativity. This expansive outdoor suite that is the Avon 3 45 Grande can be a loud room and a quiet room, a girl's room and a boy's room or an art room and a music room. However they use it, its separation from the home will instil them with an early sense of independence and you with a newfound sense of space. Just call it an early Mother's Day Present.

The Avon 3 45 Grande is made up of two rooms, and constructed with 45mm log walls. This log cabin kit is supplied with three windows that let in lots of natural light and fresh air, a french door for easy, and an internal double door that will need to be cut into the dividing wall, allowing you to place it wherever best suits you.

Standard Avon 3 45 Grande Specification:

  • External Size - 3m (9'10") wide x 7m (23') deep (approx).
  • Internal Size - Room 1: 2.77m (9'1") wide x 2.77m (9'1") deep, Room 2: 2.77m (9'1") wide x 3.95m (13'2") deep (approx).
  • 2 Rooms
  • Walls - 45mm tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches for easy assembly and a better seal compared to straight cut notches.
  • Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for a sturdy floor.
  • Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof.
we don't use OSB sheet timber tongue and groove rooftongue and groove floor

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

  • Internal Eaves - 2000mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (this means you won't bang your head!)
  • Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy. Perfect for shade in the summer and cover from the elements in the winter.
  • French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock.
  • Internal double door - To be cut in at your desired position along the dividing wall.
  • 3 Windows - Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.
  • - DOUBLE GLAZING – Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )
  • Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!
  • Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.
  • All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!
  • After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
  • French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.
  • We supply you with all nails and screws needed for the assembly of your log cabin.
