Whatever their taste and however they spend their time the Avon 4 45 Grande brings the kind of delightful possibility that you just can't get from gift vouchers or a new watch.

The Avon 4 45 Grande is seperated into two rooms and comes supplied with four opening windows for adequate light and ventilation. The French door provides easy access for large items and sufficiently opens up the cabin for parties or sunny days. The internal double door can be positioned anywhere on the inside dividing wall of the cabin and will need to be 'cut in' to suit your requirements.

For your Log Cabin we recommend a solid concrete base to footprint size plus 100mm all the way round, for example:

• A Rhine 4m x 3m would need a base approximately 4200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• For a Rhine 4m x 3m plus 1.5m veranda the base would need to be approximately 4200mm wide x 4700mm deep.
  
• For a 9m x 3m Tamar Grande the base would need to be approximately 9200mm wide x 3200mm deep.
  
• These sizes are the minimum sized base needed for these particular cabins.
  

Standard Avon 4 45 Grande Specification:

EXTERNAL SIZE 3m (9'10") wide x 8m (26'4") deep (approx).

INTERNAL SIZE Room 1: 2.77m (9'1") wide x 3.77m (12'5") deep, Room 2: 2.77m (9'1") wide x 3.95m (13'2") deep (approx).

WALLS 45mm double tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches for easy assembly and a better seal compared to straight cut notches.

FLOOR 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for a sturdy floor.

ROOF 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof.

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

INTERNAL EAVES 2010mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (this means you won't bang your head!)

CANOPY 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy. Perfect for shade in the summer and cover from the elements in the winter.

FRENCH DOOR Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock. The French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.

INTERNAL DOUBLE DOOR To be cut in at your desired position along the dividing wall.

WALK THROUGH HEIGHT 1650mm

WINDOW 4 - Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.

DOUBLE GLAZING Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )

FLOOR BEARERS 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!

ROOF BEAMS Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.

All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!

After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
