Don’t like Mondays? Find somewhere fetching to do the filing with the Avon 5 Grande Dual Wall Log Cabin Office.
This exquisite outdoor work station inspires a booming business right there amongst the begonias with all the style, space and convenience your executive head could hope for.
Let the soothing mood of real wood ease you into another day at the office and pity those rat-race runners that would give their annual rail card for such scenic views, top grade amenities and truly charming chalet venue.
The Dual Wall Office boasts superior roof and floor insulation plus fully double- glazed windows for storing warmth and minimising sound. Tight, interlocking logs produce an extremely sturdy structure that’s comprised of not one but two 28mm wall layers with foam and aluminium foil sandwiched intelligently in between. Such expert insulation makes your office akin to the skin of a penguin, keeping all the warmth inside without the need for excessive heating when the weather’s less than temperate - yet still reflecting surplus warmth to keep you cool and collected on days when the Heat Is On.
Fully opening windows, roof lights, and large French doors serve to aerate your cabin as needed, creating a corporate sanctuary that’s beautiful, bright and as fresh as the daisies it sits upon. Throw in a mug of extra strength coffee and you might even find it’s worth getting out of bed for.
(Though we won’t make any bold promises.)
Take a look at the story of how our log cabins are manufactured.
Standard Avon 5 Grande Dual Wall Office Specification:
- External Size - 3m (9'10") wide x 9m (29'7") deep (approx).
- Internal Size - Room 1: 2.6m (8'6") x 4.6m (15'3") deep, Room 2: 2.6m (8'60") wide x 3.87m (13'1") deep (approx)
- 130mm Insulated Walls - The dual wall log cabin has a 28mm external wall and a 28mm internal wall with 70mm polyurethane insulation between them. The insulation is foil backed to reflect and retain heat.
- Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for a sturdy attractive floor.
- Floor insulation - 25mm foil backed polyurethane board that sits underneath the floor boards.
- Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof with attractive ceiling.
- Roof insulation - made with 50mm polyurethane, goes on top of the roof boards to create a cabin with an over all roof thickness of approximately 80mm.
Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).
- Internal Eaves - 2050mm (6'7") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (this means you won't bang your head!)
- Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy. Perfect for shade in the summer and cover from the elements in the winter.
- French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock.
- Internal double door - To be cut in at your desired position along the dividing wall.
- 5 Windows - Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.
- 14mm TOUGHENED DOUBLE GLAZED sealed units are supplied for you to place in the window and doors. (onsite glazing required)
- 4 Glass Skylights (double glazed) - For added light and ventilation, . Will need to be cut into the log cabin roof in your desired position, allowing you to place them wherever best suits your requirements.
- Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!
- Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.
- All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction.
