Ever wish your guests would just go home? When you’re not in a position to show them the door the Rhine 3 Grande Vantage will at least allow you to remove them from view without seeming rude or heartless.

This sturdy log suite has plenty of scope for an extremely hospitable outdoor bedroom and living area with internal wall divide. Guests will love the kind of privacy it brings and (give or take a few courteous waves out the window) you’ll be free to forget being bountiful and bask in your well earned silence.

Standard Rhine 3 28 Grande VANTAGE Specification:

  • External Size - 4m (13'2") wide x 7m (23') deep (approx).
  • Internal Size - Room 1: 3.8m (12'6") wide x 2.8m (9'2") deep, Room 2: 3.8m (12'6") wide x 3.8m (12'6") deep (approx).
  • 2 Rooms
  • Walls - 28mm tongue and groove walls with bevelled notches for easy assembly and a better seal compared to straight cut notches.
  • Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor boards for a sturdy floor.
  • Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers to create a sturdy roof.
we don't use OSB sheet timber tongue and groove rooftongue and groove floor

 

Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber! (We only use MFP board on top of roof insulation, which will usually not be seen as it will have a roof covering over it).

  • Internal Eaves - 2000mm (6'6") (approx) High, the lowest point inside, giving plenty of interior space (this means you won't bang your head!)
  • Canopy - 1.1m (3'6") (approx.) deep canopy. Perfect for shade in the summer and cover from the elements in the winter.
  • French Door - Made with rebated door panels (for a more attractive appearance) and fitted with a secure lock.
  • Bi-folding shutters on front doors - add privacy when closed and fold so that they take up less space when opening. As doors open outwards the shutters are fitted to the inside of the cabin.
  • Internal double door - To be cut in at your desired position along the dividing wall.
  • 5 Windows - Made with glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it is clearer and much easier to clean than clear plastic.
  • - DOUBLE GLAZING – Optional extra - * for improved Heat & Sound Insulation. ( see options below )
  • Window shutters - Add an element of privacy to your log cabin. Shutters are fitted to the inside of the cabin as windows open outwards. (Please Note: Shutters do not fully fold back).
  • Flower Boxes for added decoration
  • Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers that sit underneath the log cabin to protect its foundations from damage by insects and fungal decay. Without pressure treated bearers moisture would damage the lower aspects of the cabin!
  • Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent 'sagging'.
  • All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction. Click here to see how easy it is!
  • After simple assembly windows slot into place. Minor adjustments will have to be carried out on windows well within the scope of a competent DIYer.
  • French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together then slot into place.
  • We supply you with all nails and screws needed for the assembly of your log cabin.
